Celebrate the staff members who bring the Principles of Community to life every day by submitting a nomination for the 2026 Soaring to New Heights: Principles of Community Achievement Awards.
Nominate someone for the Principles of Community Achievement Awards
Since 1990, these annual awards have recognized UC Davis staff whose commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion goes beyond the expectations of their role. Through leadership, service, and collaboration, award recipients help create a respectful, welcoming, and inclusive campus environment for all. Five award categories are presented each year in collaboration with the Staff Diversity Administrative Advisory Committee (SDAAC) and honored as part of the Soaring to New Heights celebration.
Nominees may be recognized for efforts that:
- Advance a positive and respectful working or learning environment
- Model behavior aligned with the Principles of Community
- Support access to opportunity and foster a sense of belonging
- Strengthen campus climate through programs, initiatives, or partnerships
- Demonstrate commitment to fairness and community engagement through public service
