Celebrating the 2025 Cohort of CAMPOS and CAMPSSAH Scholars
UC Davis is proud to welcome the 2025–2026 cohort of CAMPOS and CAMPSSAH Faculty Scholars. These programs recognize faculty who advance diversity, equity, and inclusion across the campus, supporting research and teaching that reflect a wide range of perspectives. This year’s scholars represent disciplines from psychology and microbiology to political science, Native American studies, and the arts, bringing expertise that strengthens the university’s commitment to inclusive excellence. Their work demonstrates how academic scholarship can be enriched when diverse voices are centered and supported.
CAMPOS now includes 54 faculty scholars across 37 departments, while CAMPSSAH counts 33 scholars across 19 departments. The research these faculty members pursue spans critical areas such as identity-based discrimination, environmental justice, rare cancer research, and Indigenous history. By highlighting and supporting this work, UC Davis ensures that scholarship addresses important societal challenges while reflecting the diverse experiences of the community it serves.
The induction of these faculty scholars also underscores the university’s broader commitment to cultivating an academic environment where all perspectives are valued. By fostering collaboration, mentorship, and engagement across disciplines, CAMPOS and CAMPSSAH play a key role in advancing equity and inclusion throughout the campus.
