Record Admissions Reflect UC Davis' Ongoing Commitment to Expanding Access and Opportunity

For fall 2025, UC Davis offered undergraduate admission to more than 55,700 students—a record high and a nearly 9% increase over the previous year. That includes over 45,900 first-year applicants, a 10.4% rise, and continued growth in admission offers to California residents, first-generation college students, and those from low-income backgrounds.

Renetta Garrison Tull Elected President of LACCEI

Renetta Garrison Tull, vice chancellor of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at the University of California, Davis, has been elected president of the Latin American and Caribbean Consortium of Engineering Institutions (LACCEI). Tull was selected for the leadership role because of her deep commitment to advancing diversity in STEM and building global networks in engineering, according to LACCEI.
