The Veterans Faculty and Staff Association (VFSA) fosters an inclusive and supportive space for UC Davis employees who have served in the military, currently serve, are part of military families, or are allies committed to supporting veteran communities. Open to all faculty and staff, VFSA promotes professional development, shared connection, and advocacy to strengthen visibility and belonging for veterans at UC Davis.

Through programs, partnerships, and advocacy, VFSA offers opportunities to connect, lead, and shape a more informed and supportive campus.
Engage
VFSA brings together employees through networking events, recognition programs, and campus partnerships that honor the experiences of veterans and military-connected employees. We create space for shared stories, cross-campus collaboration, and inclusive dialogue that strengthens institutional community.
Equip
VFSA supports professional growth by providing access to career development resources, mentoring opportunities, and workshops focused on skill-building and leadership. We help members navigate workplace systems, advocate for their goals, and pursue opportunities for advancement.
Empower
We empower members by amplifying veteran voices, encouraging peer support, and promoting equity in employment and campus life. VFSA helps build confidence, strengthens advocacy networks, and supports members in contributing their leadership and expertise across UC Davis.
