Part 1: The Keynote
Session: Leading Without Authority: Activating INFLUENCE Where You Are
Tuesday, April 21, 2026 | 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM | Virtual (Zoom)
Many of the most impactful leaders within organizations operate without formal authority. They serve on advisory committees, lead employee resource groups, and step into moments where influence—not title—drives change. Yet, without a clear understanding of how influence works, their contributions can remain under-recognized, disconnected from decision-making, or difficult to sustain.
In this keynote, Dr. Lola Adeyemo explores how influence already exists within everyday leadership roles—and how to use it more intentionally. Drawing from her work with ERG leaders and internal change-makers, she introduces a practical framework for making work visible, engaging the right stakeholders, and connecting ideas to action.
The session blends storytelling, insight, and a brief reflective moment to help participants identify where their next opportunity for influence lies.
