Campus Community Book Project - Get Involved

University and community members are encouraged to participate in Campus Community Book Project programming, all of which are open to the public and most of which are free. We also encourage UC Davis instructors to adopt the book for courses across the disciplines.

Campus Council on Community and Diversity

The Campus Council on Community and Diversity (CCC&D), is an advisory body to the Chancellor and the Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor that is concerned with strengthening and maintaining the bonds of community at UC Davis toward a more diverse, inclusive and equitable campus climate.

The 2026-27 Focuses on Civil Liberties and Features On Tyranny by Timothy Snyder 

The 2026-2027 Campus Community Book Project focuses on the theme of civil liberties and features On Tyranny: Twenty Lessons from the Twentieth Century by Timothy Snyder. On Tyranny is a call to arms and a guide to resistance, with invaluable ideas for how we can preserve our freedoms in the uncertain years to come.

Police Accountability Board

The UC Davis Police Accountability Board (PAB) was established in 2014 to develop and promote accountability, trust, and communication between the campus community and the UC Davis Police Department. The PAB is an independent board composed of students, staff, and faculty from the UC Davis and UC Davis Health community. Two functions are central to the PAB’s work.
